The Secret To Adding Presence To Your Business Casual Attire

Classic...well maintained...appropriately accessorized.  How often have you met someone only to learn that the way the person dressed was incongruent with his or her position?  Rather than having this describe you, put these three business attire tips into practice:

  1. Dress for the position you want rather than the one that you have.
  2. When visiting other organizations that have "dress down" policies in place, exemplify your institution's business casual attire - - even if it is more formal than your client's dress down policies.
  3. Recognize that the true definition of business casual in your organization is what the highest level person wears on dress down days.
